 Finding Valley Homestead from Melbourne Via the Hume Freeway
Travel north from Melbourne along the Hume Freeway and turn onto the Great Alpine Road, near Wangaratta, and then travel east towards Myrtleford and Bright. (Note: when you reach the McDonalds Golden Arches, on the Hume Freeway, just past Glenrowan, you have 13kms to travel before taking the Great Alpine Road turn off)
Continue on the Great Alpine Road through to Myrtleford and travel a further 10kms past Myrtleford (as though traveling through to Bright) where you will find Valley Homestead set back on the hillside to the left.
Finding Valley Homestead from Sydney Via the Hume Freeway
Travel south to Albury/Wodonga on the NSW/VIC border, and continue on the Hume until you reach the Great Alpine Road (near Wangaratta), where you turn left off the hume. Continue on the Great Alpine Road through to Myrtleford towards Bright, travelling 10kms past Myrtleford, where you will find Valley Homestead set back on the hillside to the left. (Bright is another 20kms further on)
