The Date: 20th December, 2005

The Venue & Colors: The Venue was the beautiful Mayfair Rooms. The colors chosen were red & green to reflect the Christmas Season.
All the women in the family wore shades of red, which is also the Indian traditional color for brides.

The Ceremony ... was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Warner D'Souza (who later concelebrated our Nuptial Mass as well), many thanks.
When searching for Catholic Engagement Ceremonies, Melody (the bride's sister) realised there was none. So under the guidance of Fr. Warner, she put together this ceremony especially for us. Thanks Melody! You may download the entire ceremony (in pdf format).

The Reception ... like any good party should, went on until the wee hours of the morning! We danced till our feet hurt, then took off our shoes & danced some more!
The snacks (among which were "live-food counters" & vodka pani puri & chat stands) & the food which comprised of seven different cuisines (!) were amazing! Kudos to the entire Mayfair team for the excellent job they did.

The Engagement Website: Many thanks to Ajay D'Souza & the team at WebberZone for the great job they did with our engagement site as well as this one. We've saved a screenshot of the earlier engagement site, so you can refresh your memory on how it looked!
